My mom and dad were raised in NYC and moved to New Jersey just before I was born. For holidays and special occasions, we would all pile in the car and head to the city in order to procure all the delectable Italian treats the old-world bakeries had to offer. I can distinctly remember the thrill and excitement and the smell of the bakery. I thought to myself "this is what heaven must smell like." Like many of you, I would travel far and wide to find Italian baked goods; I wanted a quality product with the finest ingredients and didn't want to travel to the city anymore, so I decided to take matters into my own hands and started making my own. As I grew into adulthood, I began doing (and still do) all the baking for all the holidays for friends and family - I truly love what I do, and I'd like to share that passion with you.
